Function – HW Architect (Lighting Controls) Then Professional Lighting Solutions is one of the business groups in our company, which targeted for the one lighting offering for indoor and outdoor markets. Category CSS (controls, systems and services) targets for the all the lighting segments e.g. office, industry, retail, hospitality, outdoor etc. via intelligent and networked solutions to control all the lighting sources and electronics. The HW Architect need have a strong and in-depth technical understanding on general electronics knowledge (analog / digital / power / controls). Has rich experience in product development process & architect design, including customer requirement management, interfacing w/ system architect and others, cost benefit analysis, components selection, acceptance testing definition etc. |

Job Responsibility · Interfacing with a systems architect or client stakeholders. The hardware architect also needs to interface directly with a software architect or engineer(s) · Generating the highest level of hardware requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule. · Ensuring that this set of high level requirements is consistent, complete, and operationally defined. · Performing cost-benefit analyses to determine the best methods or approaches for meeting the hardware requirements; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components. · Allocate all present and foreseeable (hardware) requirements into discrete hardware partitions · Partitioning large hardware systems into (successive layers of) subsystems and components · Ensuring that a maximally robust hardware architecture is developed. · Generating a set of acceptance test requirements, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user · Generating products such as sketches, models, an early user's manual, and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving Profile · Masters or above, majored in electronics, automation, Controls or relevant electrical area · >6 years experience as electronics product designer in electronics / electrical / automation controls companies · >2 years in hardware architect design and successful project execution · Strong electronics design capabilities on analog/digital circuits, analytical and system integration skills · Experience in interfacing with system architect, software. Better w/ software design experiences · Efficient, cost effective, reliable product design experience · Good communication, team spirit, and personal leadership skills · Fluent in English speaking, and good documentation capabilities Expected travelling percentage: <10% |
