工作概要 Position Summary：                                                    |

  Develops, evaluates and  improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of

  product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and

  production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, quality control and

  standards. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and

  workflow, and designs layout of equipment and work space for maximum efficiency.

  Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase

  of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifying

  actions and quality standards. Estimates process times, staffing requirements,

主要任务和职责 Primary Duties and Responsibilities：

1.    Guides and coordinates Advanced Manufacturing activities within

development and operational projects

2.    Ensures, supports and develops manufacturing capacities in plants,

monitors and audits adaptation of manufacturing best practices and

standards in the plant

3.    Responsible for the quality of execution of Advanced Manufacturing

Engineering tasks as defined on PLUS timeline

4.    Responsible for Manufacturing Sign Off as required for PLUS

deliverables

5.    Provides specifications for manufacturing equipment in line with

Johnson Controls standards and recommendations for equipment procurement

6.    Monitors equipment through production start up (Equipment verification

process), stimulates Total Productive Maintenance in new projects

7.    Cooperates with Center of Excellence for further development of

Advanced Manufacturing tools and processes

8.    Improves the plant and process layout for new and existing products

(AutoCAD, Tecnomatix)

9.    Provides cost analysis of product and process alternatives to achieve

cost savings

10.   Improves process specifications and recommendations regarding

ergonomic, support continuous improvement activity in plants (KAIZEN) to

improve quality and improve efficiency and reduce downtime

11.   Ensures that Manufacturing Engineering department is effectively

staffed in accordance with company’s business strategies

12.   Responsible for department budgeting and execution.

13.   Supports employee development by offering proper training, coaching

and job rotation opportunities; ensures that Performance Review, Succession

Planning and other HR programs are implemented.

14.   Checks thoroughly all machines, devices, systems, installations and

structural changes in order to ensure that all statuary safety rules are

observed. Taking lead in the LOTO & MG continuous improvement for new

processes and work with the Plant ME’s to insure their compliance on

existing processes.

15.   Maintains strong relationships with Plant Managers and dotted line

relationships with Plant ME’s and Maintenance Teams to insure compliance to

Manufacturing Engineering standards and best practices.

资格和要求 Qualification and Requirements:

1.    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or other

related

2.    Seven to ten years or more experience in manufacturing engineering,

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is plus

3.    Skillful in communication, interpersonal relations and ability to

inspire individuals to improve performance
